Hike through Dovrefjell

Join us for a five day trip to the mighty Dovrefjell area!

The plan:

Day 1: We take the train from Oslo to Kongsvoll and walk in to the cabin Reinheim (15km). 

Day 2: From Reinheim, we walk over the peak Snøhetta at 2286moh and down to Åmotdalshytta (13km).

Day 3: We continue southwest through Dovre before turning north into Grøvudalen and Grøvudalshytta (25km).

Day 4: From Grøvudalen again turn west and climb up onto the platou where we continue towards Aursjøhytta. (20km)

Day 5: Depending on how our legs are feeling we will either continue west towards Eikesdalen, before turning south into Gravdalen and ending up at Bjorli (31km), or go straight south towards Storhøe and ending up at Lesjaskog (24km). Either way we get on the train towards Dombås where we change trains and go back down to Oslo.
