Curious about ski touring in general, or about the dangers of avalanches when your in the mountain?

Join us for an evening of ski touring talk, as well as a lecture about avalanche danger! We'll be in Chateau Neuf from 16:00 to 20:00 on wednesday the 13th of march.

The first couple of hours will be about avalanches, and how to recognize terrain and avoid being caught in dangerous situations. The lecture will be held by an experienced avalanche instructor.

The second part will be a basic introduction to ski touring, more on the practical, everyday side of things.

This evening is the first part of our ski touring intro trip, which extends to saturday 16th of march as well. You don't have to be a participant on the ski touring trip to join this evening, but everyone who joins the ski touring trip should also join here.

This is not an actual ski touring event, it is a meeting/lecture inside. You don't need to bring any equipment.

The event is free, but you have to register to join it.
